日本人の友人たちへ

ＦＯＣＩＣＯに関する最初の情報で4番目に書いたことは「科学会議を通じて、交流を通じて、会議や本や文献などから、民族や文化や宗教を超えて世界じゅうすべての人々の相互理解を奨励する、このようにして皆が平和の美徳や愛や寛容など心に触れる」ということです。

しかし、以前より、私たちは実際会って話し合って交流しなくてと理解を充分できないと考えていました。だから１９９５年にＦＯＣＩＣＯ国際ゲストハウスを建設し始めたのです。そして今、私たちは喜んで報告できます、この建物が完成したのです。

国際ゲストハウスには４つの部屋があり、２つのリビングルーム、１つのキッチン、バスルーム、キンシャサのMont Ngafula 県にある家の周りには大きなスペースがあります。今、私たちは家の内部のユーティリティを買ったり整えるための補助的支援が必要です。（例えばデザインや塗装やエアコンディショナー、セキュリティー業者の年間支払い、ベッドや椅子、輸送する車やテレビや窓ガラスなど）それらのすべての費用は８５００ドルもかかりません。

私たちの家の近くのLemba-Salongo県にも、１つの寝室やＶＩＰの居間、１つのキッチン、１つのFOCICO-WorldwideFamilyのオフィスも又計画しています。この小さなゲストハウスにはＮＰＯスタッフや１，２人の客が利用できます。この小さなゲストハウスと国際ゲストハウスにたくさんの人が滞在できます。ここに支援が必要なのです。

最後の仕上げに、建築家は３００００ドルを要求したけど、私は日本で働き１１０００ドル支払い、あと１９０００ドル必要です。FOCICOのゲストハウスに滞在するのはあなたの家に滞在するような感じです。あなたはいつも楽しむことができ、何でも好きな物を食べ、何でも好きなことができます、これは高いお金を支払い、友人がいないで、誰もあなたの世話をしないホテルに滞在するのとは異なります。ホテルはただあなたのお金が必要なのです。あなたの補助支援があれば、お金をくれてもくれてもくれなくても自由ですといえます。しかしお金を支援してくれる私たちの友人がはそれを知る必要があります。少しずつ何ヶ月かして、あなたたちの貢献が3000ドルかそれ以上に達することができたら、その時、キンシャサへ旅行できます。あなたは支払いをしなくてもいい、ただ航空券を買うだけ、すべてはあなたは無料です。お金を支払わなかった客には、もちろん滞在費や食費や交通費などを支払わなくてはいけません、

最後にキンシャサについて述べましょう。キンシャサはコンゴ共和国の首都です。大都市で600万人の人口です。日本人は目新しくありません。特にコンゴ人と結婚した日本女性がいます。1980年から今でも住んでいます。よければ、あなたは彼らを訪問でき、書類が必要な時は大使館に行けます。キンシャサを訪問するとあなたたちは本当に人生を楽しむことができるといえます。毎瞬、失望することがないのです。

国際ゲストハウスに滞在し、近くにあるストリートチルドレンの施設で子供たちの世話をすることができます。コンゴは物不足です、日本から余った物何でも、送ってくれると嬉しいそうです。土地が広いので、様々な可能性がありそうです。

To all our Japanese friends

In our first information about FOCICO, we wrote in the fourth point that one of the FOCICO purpose is"through scientific meetings, through exchanges, conferences, books or reviews, making the promotion of understanding between all people in the world without consideration of their race, culture religion or country and by this way, sow in the heard of everybody the virtues of peace, love and tolerance".

But we were thinking many times ago that we can't make the promotion of understanding between the people if they don't meet, talk and exchange each other.That why, in 1995 we began to built a "FOCICO INTERNATIONAL GUEST HOUSE" and to-day, we are happy to tell you that now, this house is finished. We have 4 rooms, 2 leaving-room,a kitchen, a bathroom, a magasin and a big space around the house, in Mont Ngafula prefecture, at Kinshasa. Now, we need your complementary help for buy and fix all utilities inside the house(e.g. design and paiting, air conditionners,,security agency annual payements, beds, chairs, transportation cars, television, windowpanes, etc.We think that all these expenses can't be more than 8.500$.

Near our house, in Lemba-Salongo prefecture, we planned also to built a small guest house with 1 sleeping room, a v.i.p. leaving-room,1bathroom, 1 kitchen and 1 FOCICO-WORLDWIDE FAMILY Office. This small guest house will be useful for the NPO staff or when we will receive 1 or 2 guests. They can stay in the small guest house and in the International Guest House for many persons. Here we need also your help. For finish all work, the architect asked us 30.000$, we have get, working in Japan, 11.000$ and we need 19.000$. Let us tell you that staying in a FOCICO Guest House is like in your own house, you can enjoy at every moment, you can eat what you like, you can do things as you like to do; it is very very different with a hotel where you have to pay a lot of money, where you can't meet friendly and sincerely the people and where nobody don't really take care of you. They need only your money! About your complementary help, let us tell you that you are free to give money or not. But, all our friends who will help by giving money must know that, if little by little, after some months, your contribution can reach an amount of 3000$ or more, each time, when you travel to Kinshasa, you have nothing to pay, just your ticket, every thing will be free for you. For our guests who have not given money, of course, they will pay money for their stay, food and transportation around the city.

Let us tell you finally that, Kinshasa, capital of Democratic Republic of Congo, a big city with 6.000.000 habitants, is not totally new for Japanese people. Some Japanese, especially ladies who married Congolese men are living there from 1980 till to-day... You can visit them if you like or visit the Japanese Embassy if you need a paper. We will say that you can really enjoy, when you are visiting Kinshasa and you can't , at any moment, be disappointed.
