The Himalayan Experience will spotlight the culture of Nepal. The presentation will Explore and Explain with Foods, Music, Arts, Photos, People and much more. Topics such as arranged marriage, Politics, Cultural do and do not, Hindu and Buddhist culture, the caste system, and how the Traveler fits in the Nepalese home. How to find work and volunteer opportunities, how to find the host family to live with. We hope to see you and share our Mountain spirit in your home town.

Dr.Meena Singh Khadka, Faculty of University California, Berkelay (Women Studies). Now supporting NPO Worldwide Family in Nepal, Pokhara.

Guest Artists:
Indra Gurung-Flut-Baansuri, Murali (日本の笛とネパールの笛）
Karna Gurung-Tabla&Madal(Traditional,classical Drums) (タブラとネパールのドラム）
They are the most renowned Nepalese musician on the international scene. They have recorded and performed fusion works with wellknown western and Japanese musicians.
